United Way volunteers from their Allocation Committee met with board members and directors on their annual site visit of Community Link. The meeting and presentation of services by the staff was held at the Metro location in Fairview Heights. The comprehensive review by this panel included discussion of our programs, trends for the future, successes achieved, financial status and strategic direction. The panel complimented our programs and noted that Community Link has done well in its operations and ability to perform services in an atmosphere of an uncertain economy and late payments from the State of Illinois. They also complimented the board members as they could see that the board is knowledgeable and actively engaged with Community Link. The directors would like to add a special thanks to Michele McDaniel and her staff who graciously made space for this meeting as well as Lisa Rehkemper who fixed a glitch so our video could be included in the presentation.
