A Dream Come True

Intermittent Community Integrated Living Arrangements (I-CILA)

Persons who live on their own or with family and who are in need of ten to sixteen hours of services and supports per week may find that the I-CILA program will meet their needs. Through this program, Community Link provides dedicated staff who will give the support and assistance needed for persons to continue to reside in their own home. Supports can include entitlement assistance, budgeting, medication monitoring, transportation for shopping and medical appointments, as well as assistance developing various daily living skills such as cooking meals and housekeeping.

The direct care staff providing services is certified in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Crisis Prevention Institute techniques (CPI) as well as certified by the State of Illinois as direct support personnel (DSP). In addition to training, all staff is subject to drug testing and criminal background checks. Staff development opportunities are available and encouraged.

This program is a Medicaid Waiver based program. Persons eligible for the program must meet the requirements set by the Illinios Department of Human Services.
